Lubrication Technologies’ Showcase

Speciality Paper Mill | Automatic Lubrication System Install

Project Overview:

To enhance production efficiency and reduce maintenance demands, this paper mill upgraded its lubrication system to a ReliaMAX™ Automatic Lubrication System. Serving 28 critical lubrication points, the system ensures precise grease delivery, keeping essential machinery running smoothly in a high-demand production environment.

The system features a 115 VAC ReliaMAX™ electric pump housed within a weather-resistant NEMA 4X enclosure, equipped with a clear viewing window and a red strobe alert for immediate fault notifications. An integrated digital controller monitors the lubrication process, displaying real-time status and fault codes to assist operators with proactive maintenance.

A progressive distribution system driven by an ILC DMX series divider valve ensures each lubrication point receives the correct amount of grease. High-pressure indicator pins and electronic proximity sensors monitor grease flow, with troubleshooting alerts in the event of a blockage. An in-line grease filter and pressure gauge add further protection, safeguarding the system from downstream issues.

This automated upgrade reduces downtime, prevents excessive wear on key components, and supports efficient, continuous production within this demanding paper mill operation.
