Enclosed Gear Lubricants - Industrial

Advanced formulations for efficient, long-lasting gear performance.

High-Performance Protection for Industrial Gearboxes

LE’s industrial gear oils are engineered for reliable performance across countless applications, from manufacturing and processing plants to heavy-duty industrial drives. Gear oil performance depends on two key elements: the base oil and the additive system. Additives give the lubricant its strength; they enhance desirable properties, suppress harmful ones, and form the backbone of the oil’s protection.

When choosing an enclosed gear lubricant, three critical factors determine long-term performance:

  1. Thermal Stability: The oil must resist oxidation at high temperatures to prevent sludge or varnish formation. Every 18°F (10°C) rise above 140°F (60°C) can cut lubricant life in half.
  2. Load-Carrying Capacity: Gearboxes that operate under heavy or shock loads require lubricants with extreme-pressure (EP) properties to protect metal surfaces.
  3. Contamination Resistance: The oil must be able to separate from water and contaminants easily, allowing for quick drainage and maintaining effective film strength.

By maintaining these properties, LE’s enclosed gear lubricants help extend service life, minimize downtime, and improve operational efficiency across a wide range of industrial systems.

Almasol® Pure Mineral Gear Lubricant (401)
Formulated with high VI base oils, oxidation inhibitors, and Almasol®, LE’s wear-reducing additive. Provides strong protection against wear and corrosion without the use of chemically active EP agents.

Almasol® Worm Gear Lubricant (460 & 680)
Designed for enclosed worm gearboxes using bronze bull gears. Reduces friction, resists oxidation at high temperatures, and protects against wear in applications where EP lubricants cannot be used.

Duolec® Industrial Gear Oil (1601–1610, 1302, 1304)
Developed for enclosed gearboxes requiring high load-carrying strength. Features Duolec®, LE’s dual-acting additive, which enhances film strength, smooths metal surfaces, and provides long-lasting EP and wear protection.

H1 Quinplex® White Gear Lubricant (4090–4250)
NSF H1 registered lubricant for food and packaging machinery. Combines mineral and synthetic base stocks with Quinplex® tackifiers to deliver strong adhesion, corrosion resistance, and nonstaining performance in worm and enclosed gears.

H1 Quinplex® Syn FG Gear Oil (4150–4460)
100% synthetic, food-grade oil formulated for severe loading and extreme temperatures. Offers rust and corrosion protection, seal compatibility, and durable film strength with Quinplex® tackifier technology.

Monolec® Syn Gear Oil (9919 – 9923)
Fully synthetic limited-slip gear oil designed for severe-duty applications. Delivers strong film strength and long-lasting protection against wear, oxidation, and viscosity loss in transmissions, differentials, and enclosed industrial gear systems exposed to heavy shock loads.

Monolec® Syn Industrial Oil (9032-9150 & 9220-9680)
Versatile synthetic lubricant formulated to protect against heat, contamination, and heavy loads in demanding industrial environments. Provides excellent oxidation stability, wear resistance, and seal compatibility for gearboxes, compressors, hydraulics, and roll mill bearings operating under extreme temperatures.

Multilec® Industrial Oil (6801–6807)
Heavy-duty multipurpose oil engineered to resist oxidation, water contamination, and heavy loads. Suitable for gearboxes, compressors, turbines, and circulating systems in demanding industrial environments.

Duolec® PAG Gear Lubricant (9705–9707)
Synthetic PAG formulation offering exceptional corrosion resistance, wear protection, and thermal stability. Ideal for worm gears, bearings, and other components operating under extreme temperature or load conditions.

Duolec® Syn Gear Lubricant (9808-9868)
Synthetic gear oil designed to prevent deposit formation and oxidation in high-temperature service. Maintains film strength, resists viscosity loss, and provides reliable low-temperature startup protection.
